Melon variety Slavia

Delicious melon. It has acclimatized well in our southern area (Astrakhan, Volgograd region), it endures desert dry winds and heat. Many farmers now grow it because of its simplicity, resistance to low night temperatures, high yield and good taste.

Unique in color: yellow-green dense peel with a continuous net of coarse "veins". The fruit is very strong, weighing up to 5 kg. The pulp is white, 4 - 6 cm, crispy, with a rich melon, fresh aroma. The taste is rich, sugar-sweet. By the way, the sugar content of this species breaks all records - up to 8.8%!

We sow the melon in open ground before the May holidays, we begin to harvest the first harvest in 2.5 months (200 - 300 centners per hectare) and continue until the beginning of October. The hybrid practically does not get sick, and insects do not affect it. Requires only moderate watering and feeding.

Slavia remains fresh and juicy for a long time. It perfectly tolerates transportation over long distances, there are practically no broken or rotten fruits.
