Jalapeno pepper variety
I have been growing Jalapeno peppers for several years now and collect up to two harvests per bush per season. I usually eat green, unripe fruit, but you can also use a ripe one - red. It tastes spicy with a slight sourness, the fruit is quite fleshy, 4-10 cm in size. I grow it through seedlings in a greenhouse, but it is possible in the open field, the difference will be in the ripening time of the fruits, in a greenhouse a month faster. The plant is unpretentious, requires usual grooming: feeding, watering, growing in two trunks, pinching. A healthy and large shrub can produce up to 30 peppers and two crops, provided you grow to green fruit (harvest slightly unripe).
