Tomato variety Raspberry elephant

An excellent variety of large tomatoes. Planted both in a greenhouse and in open ground. I note right away that these tomatoes perfectly withstand cold snaps and are not damaged by late blight. Although, processing is indispensable. There was amicable fruiting both in the greenhouse and in the open field. The first harvest is not as big as the next ones. The largest fruits were harvested at the end of August, at the beginning of September. Excellent taste, not sour, sweet enough. They are also meaty, which is great for salads.

The raspberry elephant fully justifies its name - the tomatoes grow quite large (real "elephants") and the color of the fruits is of a pleasant raspberry color. I do not agree with the author of the previous comment that the first fruits are not as large as the subsequent ones - you just need to form a bush in two stems, constantly remove the stepsons and normalize the amount of ovary in the brush (if the brush is the first, then it is best to leave one ovary so as not to slow down further bush development). The tomato pulp is very fleshy, not "wooden" - a pleasant consistency, on the break - "sugar". The taste is pleasant - tomato, there is sourness, but it is absolutely harmonious. The variety is perfect for making salads, ketchup or tomato sauce. And the main thing that I like about these tomatoes is the aroma, they smell like tomatoes - real, like from childhood! They get sick with late blight, like all tomatoes, but I have never met stolbur on tomatoes of this variety.
