Abaco is a brand of the most delicious carrots in the world. To say that she is popular is to say nothing. Every farmer is ready to pay a lot of money for the seeds of this beauty. It is a pleasure to grow it, and the seedlings are obtained, and the ripening is uniform. Carrots are early in terms of ripening, which makes it possible to get two harvests, and in addition, early products are usually poorly stored and are characterized by low taste, but not Abaco. It is the exact opposite - very juicy, very sweet, has a good presentation - the roots are even, almost all of the same shape and size, does not form voids inside, the color is bright orange, the core does not stand out.

What to say for a farmer, if even the townspeople know that Abaco is a delicious juice for their children.

The only drawback besides the price is the instability to powdery mildew, but here you need not to let everything go by itself, but to protect the plants. We grew these carrots last year on an area of 10 acres, we got a very good harvest, which did not need advertising. Also note that we only had 1 flowering plant in this area.

So I recommend this hybrid to everyone from grower to consumer.

On our clayey compacted soil, the salvation is just the varieties of Shantane, which include Abaco. This is perhaps one of the best hybrids that I have grown and in my notebook for several years in a row this carrot is recorded as the most productive. Very juicy fruits of bright orange color. From them, purees and juices are obtained with a rich color. Very resistant to cracking, but it's worth noting that any carrot can crack if watered unevenly. Another advantage of this variety is its easy-to-clean form.
