Every year I try to plant this type of carrot. An excellent replacement for the usual Nantes. Root crops are smooth, smooth, appetizing, without a pith. Very sweet. I sow in May, harvest in late September - early October, after the first frost. I grow well on loam, with daily watering, yields are always excellent. The fly is weakly affected, due to the thickening of the plantings and frequent watering, it is sometimes damaged by slugs. Nandrin never cracked. Doesn't match color. There are no ideal storage conditions, so I cut / grate and freeze almost half of it: in winter you no longer need to fiddle with it when cooking.
