It was brought out by the specialists of Agrofirma SeDeK LLC. In 2003, an application was submitted for registration of the novelty, and in 2006 it was included in the State Register of Breeding Achievements of the Russian Federation in the Volga-Vyatka region (Kirov, Nizhny Novgorod, Sverdlovsk regions, Perm Territory, Republics of Mari El, Chuvash, Udmurt). The variety is recommended for growing in the open field of personal subsidiary plots, but it grows successfully in greenhouses in cool regions. It is a hybrid, therefore, the F1 label must be on the seed bag.

Description

The plant is determinate, compact, 50 - 80 cm high. The branching ability is moderate, the foliage is medium. The leaf of the variety is of normal size, green in color, with a slightly corrugated surface. Inflorescences of intermediate type. The peduncle is articulated. Each fruit cluster has up to 6 ovaries.

The fruits of the Doll are beautiful, with a classic shape - smooth and round. Unripe tomato is green, with a dark green spot at the stalk. Ripe - deep pink. The pulp is juicy, fleshy, moderately firm. The taste is ordinary tomato, with a slight sourness. The number of seed nests is 4 or more. The average weight of the fruit is 150-200 grams, the maximum is 400 grams. Some gardeners complain about too bland taste and the presence of a white core inside. This can happen when the crop is overfed with fertilizers and lack of sunlight.

Variety characteristics

• The Doll hybrid is famous for its early harvest - the period from the appearance of full shoots to the beginning of ripening lasts only 85 - 95 days;
• the originators on the seed bag indicate "incredible yield". The State Register confirms this - the yield of marketable fruits is excellent - 263 - 632 c / ha, which is 27 - 162 c / ha higher than those taken as the standard for White filling 214 and Siberian early ripening;
• ripening of fruits is amicable, for the first decade of fruiting, the variety gives 96 - 120 centners of tomatoes per hectare of area, which is at the level of standards;
• the first tomatoes begin to ripen in July, the fruiting period of the Doll in warm regions can last until September - October;
• the output of marketable products is excellent - from 84 to 100%;

• the immunity of the variety is high, due to the early yield of late blight, it does not threaten either leaves or tomatoes;
• the culture is also too tough for pests, except that the Colorado potato beetle can gnaw the stalk;
• the transportability of tomatoes, due to their elastic consistency, is very high, as well as keeping quality;
• the way of using the grown crop is universal. Tomatoes can be used in their natural form, as a necessary ingredient in cooking (for example, borscht or tomato sauce), processed into tomato products, salted, preserved.

Agrotechnics

For seedlings, the seeds of the Doll are sown in the second half of March or in April. In the southern regions, sowing can be carried out earlier - at the very beginning of March. Seeding depth - 1 - 1.5 cm. Temperature favorable for seedlings emergence - 23 - 25 ° C. Unfortunately, there are comments about the poor quality of the sowing material of this variety - sometimes only one third of the sown ones emerge. The pick is carried out in phase 2 of these leaves. Before transplanting to a permanent place, the seedlings are hardened. Seedlings tolerate transplanting well, this procedure is carried out when the seedlings are at least 55 days old, but it does not make sense to overexpose them for more than 2 months, since such plants will not show good growth vigor.The tomato planting scheme is standard - 40 cm between bushes and 50 cm row spacing. Density of placement - up to 6 pieces per 1 square meter. Due to the slight branching, the pinching is carried out moderately. Usually, shoots are removed before the first fruit cluster, and a crop will form on the stepsons located above. Watering, feeding, loosening and weeding are carried out in the same way as for the crop as a whole.

The doll is a good and reliable variety, which is appreciated for a very early harvest, amicable ripening, beauty and one-dimensionality of fruits, excellent immunity. Regular sized tomatoes are great for rolling, do not burst when cooked. The downside is the impossibility of self-collection of seed for further breeding.
