Tomato variety Pink honey

A true gardener never stops there and tries to grow new varieties of vegetables and fruits in his garden. Lovers of juicy tomatoes can be advised to purchase tomato seeds called Pink Honey. You will not immediately guess that we are talking about tomatoes, but it really is. The pulp of the fruit is very juicy and soft. Although it cannot be said that this variety is resistant to diseases and brings a high yield, nevertheless, many gardeners liked it.

It should be noted that this tomato is not a hybrid, which means that the resulting seeds can be used for planting over and over again. Its fruits are large, ripening period is approximately 110 days. You can grow pink honey both in the open field and in a greenhouse. This variety is perfect for salads, which means that it can rightfully occupy several beds in a garden plot.

It is better to plant this tomato in the place where garlic, peas, carrots and onions have previously visited, but not after other nightshades. It is better to plant no more than three plants per square meter. As soon as stepsons begin to appear, it is better to remove them immediately. If you form this tomato into two stems, then the yield will increase significantly.

Pink honey does not like abundant watering, therefore it is necessary to irrigate it with water when the soil surface is completely dry. At the same time, it is not desirable for water to fall on the plant itself, on its stems and leaves. He does not like tomatoes and too high temperatures, however, as well as low ones. The optimum temperature for its growth is 15 - 30 degrees.

The yield of this variety can be increased with the help of fertilizers. They must be entered twice. The first time at the beginning of vegetative maturation, and the second after about 30 days. For this purpose, water-soluble complexes with potassium and phosphorus are suitable.

It should be noted that the Pink Honey tomato is not suitable for pickling and canning. But the juice from the tomato will be excellent. And salads will appeal to all lovers of pink fruits.

In conclusion, I would like to wish good luck to the gardeners, who for the first time decided to settle these tomatoes on their plot, because you cannot do without it in gardening. This is a worthy representative of lettuce tomatoes and it will definitely please all households.

An old, kind and proven variety. The sweetest for fresh consumption. Bushes of medium height, fruits are large, fleshy, with a thin dark pink skin, not easy at all, it is easier to collect several pieces and consume immediately. Not at all suitable for pickling and canning because of its size (large) and because of its meatiness. But lecho, ketchup and tomato sauce are amazing.

The variety is mid-season, I sow for seedlings after March 15, and in open ground in the Moscow region I plant grown tomatoes on a garden bed from May 15 to June 1, depending on the temperature. Before the onset of warm, stable weather, I close it with lutrasil at night. The variety is unpretentious in care, but, like many others, it is not resistant to late blight.

One of the most beloved salad varieties! Despite the fact that it does not give an abundant technical harvest, we plant it every year. It copes perfectly with its task, namely, the supply of tasty, large and fleshy fruits for the summer table. Delicate pulp, bright taste and color distinguish these tomatoes from the rest. In addition, they make excellent juice and ketchup for the winter.
It is worth noting that, despite the fact that the plant itself is unprepossessing and its stem is thin, brushes of 3 - 4 very large tomatoes hold perfectly and let them pour. Responds well to feeding.Usually we carry out in one stem, so a stable harvest is always guaranteed.
Of the features that should be paid attention to, I would like to note that this variety is unstable to late blight, so we mulch the soil with mowed grass and cut off the lower leaves in time.

This variety is a real sissy! Very whimsical to the place, agricultural technology and weather conditions. Seedlings can take longer and worse than others. The yield from a bush is not very high, but 3 - 4 clusters of 3 - 4 large tomatoes can form on one plant. Many varieties are much more promising for the northwest in this sense, but Pink honey is worth growing, at least in small quantities, in your greenhouse. At least for a change and to have something to boast about, because the fruits are amazingly beautiful, large and very tasty! This sweet tomato salad with onions and sunflower oil is simply the pinnacle of delight. Plus, Pink Honey tomatoes are a great resource for making tomatoes in their own juice, tomato paste, tomato puree, and juice as they are very meaty, sugary, and not watery. The variety can be recommended for the tomato collection and for experienced gardeners.

Not my favorite variety in my collection. The bush itself is small in size and produces few large fruits.
We live in the Volga region, and summer is different every year, so it is not suitable for open ground, I plant it only in a greenhouse. There was a sad experience of growing without shelter, then all the bushes got sick with late blight, even spraying did not help.
Pink honey requires more maintenance than other tomato varieties. But it is great for salads and various preparations - the fruits are large and fleshy.

Not a bad variety. It was grown exactly as a salad, table. We love those big and sugary. In the first harvest, we got few of them, but we had very large tomatoes. The largest is about 1300 grams for sure. Last year they planted a second time, but there were no such large tomatoes. Although it is a rather tasty tomato, we are not going to plant it in the future, we are more fond of universal varieties for fresh food and canning.
