Hoffmanns Giganta cucumber variety

This year I decided to experiment and plant giant cucumbers. The giant, half a meter long, surprised neighbors and guests with its impressive size. But, as a vegetable, the variety disappointed. In a jar, perhaps in pieces. And fresh cucumbers are tasteless, dryish and the skin is very tough, but one plus can be put for the lack of bitterness.
