Tomato variety Truffle red

Two years ago I discovered this variety, which combines excellent taste and good keeping quality of fruits.

The tomato is not for the lazy, it requires constant attention in terms of pinching. But it bears fruit abundantly, forming multiple heavy brushes. Resistant to diseases, pleases with a generous harvest in the greenhouse. But, like most tomatoes of Siberian selection, it feels good in open beds.

The red truffle has beautiful pear-shaped fruits. The variety cannot be called large-fruited, the first fruits weighing up to 150 grams, the next ones are smaller. But its taste is not inferior to the noble giant tomatoes. The tomatoes are dark red, with a velvety delicate pulp, sweet in taste.

Due to its compact size, fleshy flesh and firm soft skin, Truffle Red is ideal for canning both in whole and in halves. And the sweet taste makes these tomatoes indispensable in fresh salads.

I also appreciate it for its excellent storage. In a dark place, in a cool room, these tomatoes retain their taste and freshness for weeks.
