Verlioka tomato variety
Verlioka is an early ripe tomato variety. If you plant seeds in March, then in the last days of June you can taste delicious, juicy, tasty and aromatic fruits. The height of the plant bush can reach 200 cm. At the same time, you can see that the bush is completely covered with rich red bunches that hide the foliage of the plant. Fruits weighing about 0.1 kg, with a smooth, shiny surface, appear 95 days after the first shoots are visible. The tomato is intended for greenhouse cultivation and survives perfectly in extreme conditions, which are characterized by:
- temperature difference;
- lack of the required percentage of illumination;
- high level of humidity.
The advantage of the Verlioka variety can be considered resistance to brown spot, tobacco mosaic, fusarium blight, apical rot and many other diseases. It is this property that has led to the fact that this plant does not need dangerous chemical treatment.
The Verlioka variety is famous for its large-scale and developed root system. This allows the plant to obtain the nutrients it needs from the soil to support healthy growth. Experts advise to form a bush into one stem and remove stepchildren in time. After 3 inflorescences have formed, you need to pinch the stem, leaving 2 leaves above the last inflorescence. This measure will increase the yield of the plant.
Verlioka usually attracts buyers with its bright packaging. People are happy to buy a proven tomato, because in addition to easy cultivation, this variety is famous for its taste characteristics. This led to the use of Verliok's tomato not only in cooking, but also in the preservation process.
I planted this variety once, for several years in a row, and was happy. Since there is not enough sun in my garden, and this variety gave a very good harvest in the greenhouse.
I tried to plant this tomato only once. And it turned out to be a very warm summer, since it was in 2016 that I planted many different varieties for selection for subsequent plantings. Verlioka is a fairly tall plant, but my greenhouse is too small to grow to its maximum size. I did not notice a big harvest from him, the only thing that I liked was just the shape of the fruits, as well as early ripeness. We tasted the first tomatoes in July. It is not suitable for storage for a long time, the fruits must be processed in a short time. Either preserved or frozen.
A variety with excellent yields. But it is mainly suitable for processing: tomatoes are very sour, low-sugar. For several years they have grown it in a glass greenhouse, but recently they abandoned it, because 1) the supplied seeds do not show the declared varietal properties, 2) more tasty and stable hybrids have appeared on the market.
