This year, I managed to collect a pretty good harvest of cabbage on my personal plot. I grow the Kharkov winter season for the second season and so far I am very pleased with it. This summer I organized the watering of the cabbage beds, and it turned out to grow larger heads of cabbage compared to last year. I especially like that this variety is perfectly stored fresh in the basement, it lies calmly until spring. And in winter it is truly a storehouse of vitamins. But besides that, I close the cabbage in jars in the form of a salad, adding carrots. This variety has excellent taste, it is moderately juicy. Next season I will definitely grow it.

She planted winter cabbage last year for the first time. A neighbor raised seedlings, planted herself, well, and offered me the extra one. The harvest was good, but the neighbor's was better. My seedlings were sick before they started. Of course, I watered, hid from the sun under burdocks. In the fall, she thanked me with her dense heads of cabbage. Taste excellent, all winter I did not buy cabbage, my own was enough. Inside, the cabbage is white, without coarse veins, the pies with it are excellent, and you can't find a better variety for pickling. This year I stocked up on seeds myself, in May I will sow in a greenhouse, well, and then in open ground - let it grow.

One of the best varieties when used for winter sourdough. Winter variety - if planted in the ground, it begins to tie only in the month of July. If the summer is dry, you need to water it well, because the lower leaves begin to dry and then the heads of cabbage become not so dense and juicy. Often, seeds of medium varieties of cabbage are added to the seeds of the Kharkov winter cabbage, which in appearance are practically indistinguishable, but the winter variety has one feature - the leaves are very dark greenish in color with a slight blueness. It is very well stored in the cellar if it is dug up by the roots and placed directly in the winter storage place.
