Designed to produce mini gherkins. Introduced into the state register of the Russian Federation in 2006. Plants are indeterminate, medium-branched, female flowering type. Leaves are green, medium in size. One node contains from 1 - 3 to 4 - 6 female flowers. At the beginning of growth, 1 - 2 ovaries are formed in the node, over time, by the period of fruiting, their number increases. Planting density of cucumber Be healthy in greenhouses - 2.5 plants / sq. meter, in open ground 3 - 4 plants / sq. meter.

Zelentsi are large tuberous, dense, oval-cylindrical, slightly ribbed, very short, weighing 60 - 90 grams, 6 - 9 cm long. The skin is green, glossy, with stripes of medium length. Pubescence is white, of medium density. The yield of marketable fruits is 10 - 13 kg / sq. meter.

The taste is excellent. Zelentsy are perfect for pickling and canning.

The variety responds well to additional pollination by increasing the early and total yield. Parthenocarp is better at moderate air temperatures; on the contrary, with strong overheating, the degree of parthenocarpia decreases.
