Cucumber variety Miracle crunch (F1)
Miracle crunch is a hybrid of an early ripening cucumber, bred by employees of the selection and seed-growing company Aelita (Moscow). In 2006, it was entered into the state register of the Russian Federation. Approved for use in the following regions of Russia: North, North-West, Volgo-Vyatka, Central, Central Black Earth, Middle Volga and North Caucasus. Best suited for growing outdoors and under cover films. Authors of the variety: A.V. Kandoba, V.G. Kachainik, N.V. Nastenko.
The Chudo Khrustik variety is parthenocarpic. From the emergence of full shoots to the collection of the first fruits, 38 - 40 days pass.
Plants are medium-branched, indeterminate, with exclusively female flowers. The leaves are green, large in size. In one leaf sinus, from 1 to 3 fruits are formed.
Cucumbers are oval-cylindrical, narrowed at the top; with small, often located tubercles. The skin is thin, dark green, with white stripes reaching the middle of the fruit. The mass of the greenery is 60 - 80 grams, the length is 9 - 10 cm. The thorns are white. The pulp is aromatic, sweet, crunchy (it does not lose this property even when salted), genetically without bitterness. The yield of marketable fruits is 9 - 11 kg / square meter.
A variety of universal use. Great for summer salads and canning. It manifests itself best of all in light-salted form.
This hybrid is resistant to widespread cucumber diseases: root rot, powdery mildew, cucumber mosaic virus; tolerant to downy mildew. Weakly resistant to cold snaps.
Advantages of the Miracle Crunch cucumber: early maturity, high taste, complex resistance to diseases, marketability, stable yield.
