The new product was announced in 2013 by Agrofirma Poisk LLC, well-known for its selection developments in the field of vegetable growing. In 2015, the species was included in the State Register of Breeding Achievements of Russia. Recommended for growing under film shelters and in film greenhouses of personal subsidiary plots. This feature makes it possible to grow crops in any region of the country. It is a hybrid, therefore it is labeled F1.

Description

The plant is indeterminate and has good vigor. The variety is characterized by medium branching, lateral shoots of the determinant type, that is, they have a limited vigor of growth. The leafiness of the cucumber is moderate. The leaf blade is angular-heart-shaped, with a slightly wrinkled surface, of medium size, the petiole is long. The flowering type is female. According to the State Register, the number of female flowers in each node of the Fast and the Furious is 2 or 3, according to other sources, with sufficient care, up to 5 flowers can form.

Zelentsy are visually attractive, short, cylindrical in shape, evenly colored in dark green color, with light stripes of medium size. The skin is not rough, elastic. The surface of the fruit is covered with large tubercles, the pubescence is white. The pulp has a pleasant consistency, tender, juicy, crunchy. The taste is noted by the State Register as good. The seeds are in the stage of milky ripeness, so they are absolutely not felt during use. The sizing of the cucumbers is excellent, they are practically one-dimensional, 10 - 12 cm long, 3.5 - 4.0 cm in diameter. Weight 110 - 130 grams.

Agrotechnics

Sowing seedlings is carried out in April or May. Cucumbers can be planted directly in the greenhouse from May 25 to June 5, when the soil temperature warms up above + 10 ° C. So in relation to soil, the plant is unpretentious, the main thing is to prepare the garden in advance. But culture is demanding for other agricultural techniques. She loves abundant watering, preferably with warm water. The drip irrigation system has proven itself well. Top dressing is also not recommended to be skipped; during the growing season, fertilizer should be applied 3-4 times. Despite the good immunity of the cucumber, it is imperative to take preventive measures against diseases and pests.

The Forsage hybrid has been added to the list of crops for cultivation by many vegetable growers. This variety, due to the combination of positive characteristics, is considered as having prospects in industrial cultivation. The most valuable qualities of the crop are high yield, long-term fruiting, parthenocarp and independence from weather conditions.
