Cucumber variety Moscow Nights (F1)

Moscow evenings - a hybrid of an early ripening cucumber, bred by specialists of the selection and seed-growing company Manul (Mytishchi). In 2000, it was added to the state register of plants of the Russian Federation for garden plots, home gardens and small farms. Approved for use in all regions of Russia. Authors: O. N. Krylov and A.V. Borisov.

The variety is parthenocarpic, female or predominantly female flowering type. It is preferable for cultivation in the spring-summer turnover under film shelters. The period from the appearance of full shoots to fruiting is 42 - 45 days.

Plants are strongly plaited, medium-branched, indeterminate. Leaves are medium in size, wrinkled, dark green; the edge of the leaf is even or slightly wavy. The number of ovaries in one leaf sinus is 1 - 3 pcs. The manufacturer's recommended planting density in closed ground is 2.5 plants / square meter; in open ground - 3 - 4 plants / square meter.

Cucumbers are oval-cylindrical, with large sparse tubercles. The mass of greenery is 80 - 110 g, length - 12 - 14 cm, diameter - 3.5 - 4.5 cm. The skin is dark green, with short white stripes. The thorns are white. Pubescence is of medium density. The pulp is dense, without voids, not juicy enough. The yield of marketable fruits is 15 - 17 kg / square meter.

A universal variety - good both fresh and canned.

This hybrid is characterized by increased shade tolerance, adaptability to various growing conditions, as well as long-term massive yield. Possesses high resistance to olive spot, cucumber mosaic virus, powdery mildew and medium - to peronosporosis.

Complete bullshit, not the "Moscow Nights" sort! There are many flowers, but not a single ovary! Everything dries without even being tied! Or in a bag - not this variety slipped. On the next bed there is another variety - both flowers and ovaries - everything is there.

Veronica, you are probably out of luck with the seeds. For the fifth year I have been planting "Moscow evenings". One of my favorite varieties. There are a lot of cucumbers and are always even, slender, even if they grow over.
