Description

The plant is vigorous, fast-growing, indeterminate, 1.2 meters high. According to some reports, in a greenhouse, the growth of a cucumber stalk can reach 3.0 or 3.5 meters. Average branching, flowering type - female flowers prevail. Leaves are not very large, on long petioles, dark green, with well-discernible venation. The variety has a bouquet type of fruiting and forms 7 - 8 ovaries in each internode (according to the State Register, the number of female flowers in a node is 2 - 3).

Zelenets Khrustyka is small in size - 10 - 12 cm, cylindrical, cross-sectional diameter - 3.5 - 4.0 cm. Skin color is green, with small light stripes and moderate spotting. The surface of the fruit is covered with not too large tubercles, located quite rarely. The pubescence is complex, rare, white. The mass of a cucumber is 100 - 110 grams, according to the State Register - 120 grams. The taste is excellent. Zelentsy are sweet, juicy. An interesting feature of the hybrid is parthenocarp, that is, the variety sets a crop without pollination. • the way of use is universal. Sweet and crunchy cucumbers are used in vitamin salads, in their natural form with meat or vegetable dishes, for making okroshka. Seeds are sown directly into the ground in May or June, it all depends on the region. Direct sowing is carried out only in well-heated soil, the temperature of which is not lower than 12 ° C.
