Rose Alliance

The Japanese have succeeded not only in the field of science and technology - beauty is not alien to this Asian people. Today, noble plants bred in the Land of the Rising Sun are of great value. One of them worthy of admiration is the Alliance rose. Its buds are inherent in the original colors, and the culture itself has quite good endurance.

History of origin

This variety owes its appearance to the breeders of the Japanese company Keisei Rose Nursery. The world found out about him in 2002. The name of the rose indicates its unusual, not devoid of harmony, two-tone color, since the word "alliance" means "connection". The registration name of the flower is KEImateo.

Description of the variety

The Asian variety Alliance is a representative of the hybrid tea group. It is also a valuable floristic variety. The plant looks very attractive: a vigorous, powerful bush with a height of 1 to 1.2 meters and a width of about 70 cm, with erect or prone to branching thick, strong stems covered with dense dark green foliage with a glossy sheen. The two-colored delicate flowers of the decorative perennial are incredibly touching. The inner velvety surface of the petals forming them pleases the eye with a pomegranate shade, the outer side is smooth, silvery-white in color with light red veins. The buds of this plant are dense, solitary. The blossoming flowers are double, medium-sized (6-8 cm in diameter) and rather fragrant. However, their aroma is unobtrusive and light. Alliance is a multi-flowering variety with abundant flowering. New buds appear on the bush from June to mid-autumn.

A perennial of Japanese selection is a fairly frost-resistant plant. In the cold season, a rose may well do without shelter, if the air temperature in your area does not drop below -19 ° C. The culture has good immunity to diseases and pests. The flowers of the Asian beauty have excellent resistance to rain, bright summer sun and heat. Its shoots do not need to be tied up, and the bush itself needs support during lush flowering, since the stems of the plant do not deform and do not break off under the weight of beautiful inflorescences.

Features of agricultural technology

Alliance prefers sunlit spaces, but can grow and bloom in partial shade as well. The shady sector of the plot is not suitable for placing a culture, since in this case the flowering of a decorative perennial is unlikely to be full. It is better to keep the rose from drafts. It should not be planted in the lowlands due to stagnation in such places of rainwater and cold air, which can provoke illness and death of the rose bush. The Japanese beauty Alliance is planted in slightly acidic, fertile soil with good air permeability and moisture capacity. If possible, choose loamy soil for these purposes. Place a thick layer of gravel or fine gravel at the bottom of the hole, about 60 cm deep, as one of the plant's requirements for the soil is that it must be drained.

Watering and feeding perennials is carried out regularly. Water to moisten the soil under the bush is used soft, slightly warm. Watering itself is shown to the plant in the morning or in the evening twilight, but not at the height of a summer day. In the spring, the rose needs organic, and in the summer, during the budding and flowering period, mineral fertilizers. In addition, loosening and mulching of the zone of the trunk circle is of great importance in flower care. The cultivar needs annual sanitary pruning. During the summer, it is necessary to remove faded and dried inflorescences from the bush in a timely manner in order to enable new buds to appear. In the fall, all the stems of the noble plant are shortened. When cultivating a culture in a region with harsh, little snowy winters, it is covered with a special insulation with the arrival of autumn cold weather.

Use cases

The alliance is suitable for group plantings and placement in an ordinary flower garden, front garden, rose garden. It is ideal for decorating hedges, dividing the garden into zones. The variety is planted in round flower beds, and also grown in rabatkas and mixborders. It is appropriate for mixed compositions. In this case, the two-color culture goes well with plants whose inflorescences are colored scarlet, burgundy, cream, snow-white and yellow. Ornamental conifers and fragrant herbs will become wonderful companions for her. If you want to focus on this rose, place it in the foreground of the site, at the front of the dwelling, at the front entrance to the house or garden, on the emerald lawn. Alliance flowers are used for cutting, as they stay fresh in water for up to two weeks.
