Early ripe tomato is perhaps one of the most popular crops in cooler regions. But even where the climate can be called comfortable, getting early produce is always welcome. Plants that can be grown outdoors, regardless of weather conditions, are especially valuable. Our hero has not yet been included in the State Register of Breeding Achievements of Russia, but promises to be very promising and in demand. It shows excellent results not only in protected, but also in the open field. It is a hybrid, therefore it is marked with F1.

Description

The plant is determinate. The height will depend on the place of cultivation: in the open field it can be from 50 cm to 1.0 meters, and in the protected field it will grow up to 1.2 meters. The bush is powerful, not too sprawling, the shoots and foliage are moderate. Tomato leaves are odd-pinnate, of the usual type, with a slightly corrugated surface, green in color. The internodes are short. The inflorescence is of a simple type, collected from light yellow flowers of medium size. The first fruit cluster is laid rather low - after 5 - 6 leaves, subsequent ones appear every 1 - 2 leaves. Clusters consist of 4 - 6 ovaries. The peduncle is articulated. The place where the stalk is attached to the fruit is average.

You can admire the fruits of Antyufey. The shape is beautiful, oval-elongated, the top is crowned with a small, sharp, perky nose. The surface is smooth. The skin is moderately dense, you hardly notice it while eating, but at the same time it is strong. An unripe tomato is light green, without a dark spot at the stalk. Ripe is poured into an even, saturated red color. The pulp is very aromatic, has a rather dense structure, but is tender. The section shows that the tomato is very fleshy, multi-chambered, the seed nests are small, well filled, there are few seeds. When cutting, a little juice is released, which indicates juiciness, while the chopped pulp does not drain, it keeps its shape. Taste qualities, given that our hero belongs to the category of early ripening, excellent, harmonious taste with a predominance of sweetness. Another advantage of the variety is its large fruit size. Tomatoes weighing from 240 to 400 grams ripen in brushes.

Characteristics

• Our hero belongs to the early maturing varieties. From the emergence of full shoots to the beginning of fruiting, only 90 - 95 days pass. Such a short time is just a godsend for regions with a short and cool summer, because the crop will have time to fully ripen on the bush, which is very important for obtaining high taste;

• the yield is excellent, but its performance depends on the method of cultivation. So, in the open field, the yield will be 12.0 - 14.0 kg per 1 square meter, and in the comfortable conditions of protected ground, this figure increases to 16.0 - 18.0 kg of tomatoes from the same area;
• fruits of this variety are highly marketable. The pulp ripens evenly, there are no green shoulders at the base, besides, Antyufey has a high resistance to cracking;
• the immunity is encouraging. Our hero is resistant to Alternaria, tomato mosaic virus, apical and root rot. Early maturity allows you to avoid meeting with the formidable late blight;
• the hybrid has excellent stress resistance. Heat resistance is especially worth highlighting. This quality allows you to get excellent results in the southern regions, where the temperature sometimes exceeds + 35 ° C. By the way, in recent years this problem has become quite urgent for central Russia as well;
• transportability at a high level. Dense tomatoes withstand the hardships of long journeys. Subject to storage standards, keeping quality will not fail;

Agrotechnics

Like most representatives of the culture, Antyufei is preferable to grow in seedlings. It is advisable to calculate the sowing time yourself, taking into account the peculiarities of the climate and growing conditions. For example, in central Russia, the sowing period falls on the second decade of March. Seedlings necessarily dive in the phase of 2 true leaves. The recommended planting density in protected ground is up to 4 plants per 1 square meter, in open ground, up to 5 bushes can be compacted in the same area. But the planting should not be too thickened, the plants should be well ventilated so that favorable conditions do not arise for the development of fungal infections. The most abundant harvest is obtained when the plant is formed with 3 stems. Timely pinching helps to increase the productivity of tomatoes. Taste qualities are undoubtedly high, but they can pump up if some nuances are not observed. If during the ripening period the plant suffered from waterlogging of the soil and lack of light, then the pulp may be watery and tasteless. Leaving is not difficult, and this is a big plus, since even a beginner can grow Antyufei. There were no particular flaws in the culture. The only negative is that tomato seeds will have to be purchased every time before sowing.
