Tomato variety Black Moor
For a long time no one is surprised by the unusual color of tomatoes. But, perhaps, varieties with dark chocolate skin look very intriguing. Therefore, it is not surprising that many breeders are working in this direction. In 1998, ZAO Scientific and Production Corporation NK LTD filed an application for registration of a novelty called Black Moor. The date of introduction of the variety into the State Register of Plants of the Russian Federation is 2000. All regions of Russia are suitable for cultivation. The tomato is intended for garden plots and small farms. Grown in the open field and under film shelters. Not a hybrid.

The leaves of the Black Moor are of a potato type, medium size, opposite, dark green in color. The venation is reticulate, moderately pronounced, the surface is slightly wrinkled, dull, the reverse side of the leaf is somewhat lighter. The inflorescence of the variety is simple, sometimes of an intermediate type. On average, from 6 to 10 tomatoes are tied on one cluster, but sometimes the number of ovaries can increase to 18. The first flower cluster forms above 8-9 knots, the subsequent ones are formed every 3 leaves. The peduncle is articulated.
The fruits are small, beautiful, plum or ovoid, and are even in size. The average weight is 45 grams. The skin is thick, glossy. When unripe, the color is light green, with a small dark green spot at the peduncle. A ripe tomato acquires a dark red-brown color, the stain disappears. The flesh of the Black Moor is quite dense, fleshy, juicy. It tastes sweet. The palatability is noted as excellent. Tomato juice contains 7.2% dry matter and 3.2% total sugar. The number of seed nests is 2.

Agrotechnics
The seedling method of cultivating the variety is preferred. The seeds of the Black Moor are sown in March, the containers are covered with a plastic bag and kept at a temperature of 25 ° C. The sowing depth is 1 cm. After the entrances appear, the shelter is removed, and the seedlings are placed closer to the most lighted windowsill. Seedlings are planted in a permanent place at the age of 60 - 65 days, when there are 6 - 7 true leaves on the plant. Planting pattern - 40 cm between bushes in a row, row spacing - 50 cm. Planting density - 3 - 4 plants per 1 square meter.
Agricultural technology is quite common in culture. It includes feeding, loosening and weeding. With watering, you need to be careful, excessive waterlogging or drying out of the soil will negatively affect the quality of the fruits. After planting, a garter on a vertical trellis is required.Tomato is formed into 1 stalk when grown in the open field, in closed - in 2, sometimes 3, less often in 4. Stepsons must be removed.
Black Moor is valued for its unusual color, excellent taste and high yield. The suitability for whole canning makes it possible to surprise and pamper the family in winter. A small disadvantage of the variety is the need to form a plant, in addition to this, prevention of top rot should be carried out.

Black Moor is one of my favorite tomatoes. Every year I have been planting it in my garden for about ten years. And he never let me down. I grow in the open field, in two or three stems, as it turns out when pinching. A very productive variety. Tomatoes are sweet and delicious, good in pickling and pickling.
I agree, the tomatoes are great! Productive and unpretentious! I use these babies as a sealant when canning tomatoes and cucumbers in cans!
