Kibitz tomato variety
Many varieties of tomatoes, although they have different names, are very similar in appearance. But there are those who have a distinctive feature in appearance, making them easy to remember. These include Kibits. It does not appear in the State Register of Breeding Achievements of Russia, therefore it is difficult to name an exact pedigree. But the description and characteristics of this variety can be found among the numerous and, by the way, positive responses. This variety is not a hybrid, so you can always collect the seed yourself.
Description
The plant is indeterminate, low - 60 - 70 cm, maximum height up to 80 cm. The shoot-forming ability of tomato is moderate, foliage is good. Leaves of medium size, usual type, dark green in color. The first inflorescence is formed over 5-6 leaves. In each fruit cluster, about 5 - 7 ovaries are formed. The peduncle of the variety has an articulation.
Kibitsa fruits are elongated plum-shaped, one-dimensional. A varietal highlight is a sharp nose, which, as it ripens, appears from a depression on the top of the tomato. An unripe tomato is colored light green with an extensive, slightly blurred spot at the stalk, when ripe becomes red or orange-red. The pulp is very fleshy, dense, tender and juicy, sugary at the break, with a pronounced aroma. But often a white rod can be found in the cut. The seed chambers are small, there are 2 nests in total. There are not very many seeds. The size of tomatoes is small. Average weight 50 - 60 grams.

Agrotechnics
Kibitz is best grown in seedlings. The sowing period is easy to calculate independently for each region, taking into account its climatic features. Plants are ready for transplantation to a permanent place at the age of 55 - 60 days. The planting density, taking into account the relative compactness of the bushes, is high - up to 5 - 9 pieces per 1 square meter. But you should not thicken the plantings too much, so that the threat of late blight does not arise. In the process of growing, gardeners often refuse to tie and form a crop. But experienced vegetable growers recommend forming a plant in 3 - 4 stems, and in the case of the formation of a large amount of ovary, tie it up on a support. In care, the culture is undemanding, it is unpretentious to soils, but still prefers loose and fertile soils.Watering is carried out with water heated in the sun. During the growing season, you need to feed the tomatoes 2 - 3 times.
Kibitz fell in love with many vegetable growers for its unpretentiousness and productivity. Despite its popularity, the culture is most often grown not because of its taste, but due to the quality of the resulting tomato products and seals. If you follow agricultural techniques, then there will be no problems with a persistent variety. There were no particular complaints during the cultivation of the variety. A nice bonus is the ability to collect seeds yourself.
