Collectors of unusual tomatoes could not pass by the amazing Pascal from Picardy. Its original name is Pascal de Picardie. A new variety, it was bred in the United States and was originally called Crazy Horse Antho Paste, or simply Crazy Horse. In 2017, it was decided to rename the species in honor of Pascal Antigny, who is the head of the International Tomatophilia Association. This tomato is not included in the State Register of Breeding Achievements of Russia, therefore there is little information about it, and it is impossible to find seeds on sale. Seed material is shared by amateurs. According to reviews, the culture develops well and bears fruit in protected and open ground. Our hero is not a hybrid.
Description
The plant is indeterminate, tall, not too thickened, fine structure. In the greenhouse it grows from 1.7 to 2.2 meters. The leaves are long, alternate, of the usual type, drooping, but firmly attached to the stem. The inflorescence is intermediate. In the fruit cluster of Pascal from Picardy, there can be from 5 to 7 ovaries. The peduncle is articulated.
The fruits of this variety are beautiful both in shape and color. The shape is elongated-plum-shaped or cylindrical, the top is crowned with a neat spout. Unripe fruits are green in color, with a large dark purple spot, which begins near the stalk, and on some tomatoes drops almost to the top. As it ripens, which starts from the top, the tomato turns red, the fully ripe fruit is dark red with anthocyanin shoulders. The skin is not thick, glossy, which makes the fruits appear varnished. The pulp is dark raspberry, fleshy, juicy, juicy. The seed chambers are small, there are few seeds. Many tomato growers note the excellent taste of our hero, sweetness prevails in the taste. Tomatoes are small in size, with an average weight of 100 grams. The smallest ones weigh about 60 grams, and the largest ones weigh 130 grams. When normalizing the brush, the mass of the tomato increases to 200 grams.

It is advisable to grow Pascal from Picardy in a seedling way. In each region, the time for sowing seeds is best calculated independently, taking into account climatic features. You can plant seedlings at the age of 60 - 65 days. The recommended density is 3 plants per square meter. After transplanting, the bush is tied up and formed into 2 - 3 stems. The plot must be well lit in order for the culture to show its true taste and beautiful color.
