Description

Belonging to determinants greatly facilitates plant care, although it does not exclude the need for a garter. The bush is powerful, slightly spreading. Leaves are odd-pinnate, of the usual type, with a slightly wrinkled surface, medium in size, dark green in color. The inflorescence is complex, branched, consisting of bright yellow flowers of medium size. Fruit cluster consists of numerous ovaries - from 10 to 15 pieces. 4 - 6 brushes are formed on the central stem, after which the bush is pushed up on its own. The peduncle of the variety has an articulation.

The fruits of the Pir variety for the whole world are of an elliptical shape beloved by everyone, in other words, they are plum-shaped, with a narrowed base and slightly widening towards the top, slightly ribbed. The top is decorated with a small pointed nose. The tomatoes are quite dense to the touch. The skin is very strong, thick, which makes the crop suitable for canning. Unripe tomato is light green, without a dark spot at the stalk. When ripe, it turns red. The pulp is quite dense, when cutting it keeps its shape, moderately tender, grainy consistency, not too juicy due to the high content of dry substances. The State Register described the taste as good. Gardeners agree with this, but note that the variety acquires a real tomato flavor only during the period of full ripening, which occurs on the bush. The sun adds sugariness to the pulp. Seed chambers - 2 - 3 pieces. Tomatoes are small in size, the State Register recorded a mass of 60 - 90 grams, which was declared by the originator.

But according to the originator, from the moment of full sprouting to the beginning of fruiting, it takes from 105 to 110 days, which most likely attributes our hero to mid-season varieties. Differences in maturation can occur due to different growing conditions. In greenhouses, the plant develops slightly faster than in open ground;
  • marketable yield under film shelters was 8.0 - 8.5 kg per 1 square meter. The indicators of the originator and the State Register are the same. True, the productivity of some gardeners does not quite reach the declared level. Often, the productivity of the variety is slightly lower - about 6.0 kg per 1 square meter;
  • during the ripening period, ripe tomatoes should be harvested every 2 to 3 days. Fruiting continues until early September. In warm regions - a little longer;
  • fruits of high commercial quality. They ripen evenly, are resistant to cracking even in adverse conditions;
  • the variety has shown excellent adaptability in unstable outdoor conditions. According to reviews, the plants survived perfectly when the temperature dropped to + 3 ° С;
  • the originator and the State Register do not provide specific information about immunity. In general, gardeners do not complain about the health of the culture. But at the end of the growing season, the plant can still overtake late blight;
  • transportability, due to the dense structure of the pulp and dense skin, is good. The fruits are resistant to minor mechanical damage.Keeping quality also does not fail, however, after long-term storage, the pulp may soften a little;

A feast for the whole world is a reliable and unpretentious variety that will not leave without a crop even in adverse conditions. The plant is very responsive to care, but at the same time patient and unpretentious. According to reviews, the tomato grows well outdoors in central Russia. Perhaps, it does not shine with taste, but our hero has no equal in canning - the skin does not burst from heat treatment, the pulp does not spread. In addition, the housewives make a real delicacy from low-liquid fruits - sun-dried tomatoes. During the cultivation period, our hero showed no critical flaws. A little hassle can cause a garter. But the main plus - the ability to collect seeds yourself - will give you an advantage in the future. After all, it will be possible to control the quality of the seed yourself.
