Apple variety Sweet bliss
Sweet bliss is a variety of apple trees with fruits of summer ripening, bred at the Sverdlovsk experimental gardening station by breeder L.A. Kotov. In fact, the variety is collectible and should arouse particular interest, first of all, among lovers of very sweet apples (without acid), as well as among gardeners in whose families little children grow up.
The trees are medium in size, the crown is strong, rather dense, oval in shape. Fruits are usually medium-sized or large, the weight of the apple is 100 - 140 g, but it can be less (60 - 90 g) or more (the maximum weight does not exceed 200 g). The shape of the fruit is usually flattened-rounded, but sometimes elongated. In general, the apples look very elegant: their main color is straw-yellow, the integumentary color is expressed by an abundant streaky-blurred bright scarlet blush. The pulp is white in color, fine-grained structure, the taste is sugar-sweet ("honey"), without sourness, but not fresh, juicy, crunchy, with aroma (tasting score 4.3 points). Fruits are stored for no more than 1 month.
The first fruiting occurs 4 - 5 years after planting.
Winter hardiness of the Sweet Bliss apple tree is high, the trees are able to withstand frosts down to minus 42 ° C.
The main advantage of the variety: beautiful fruits with a very good dessert-type taste.
The most preferable for planting this apple tree will be sunny places with moisture-consuming, fertile, breathable soils. Sandy loam and loam are also good.
