The trees are of medium size, slender, medium leafy crown, medium thickened, broad-pyramidal in shape. Skeletal branches form angles of approximately 45 degrees when they leave the trunk. The variety is self-fertile.

Fruits are medium or large in size (the weight of one pear ranges from 100 - 120 to 200 - 250 grams), wide pear-shaped in shape. The main color of the fruit is green, at the time of ripening it is yellow-green, the integumentary color is expressed from the illuminated side through a pink-red blush. The stalks are thick, long, slightly curved in shape.

The pulp is white or creamy, medium-dense, oily, tender, melting, juicy, not tart, sweet-sour dessert taste (sweetness prevails). The tasting score of taste is 4.5 points. The Kokinskaya variety is suitable for fresh consumption, processing, homemade products. The transportation of the pear is well tolerated.

The period of removable fruit ripeness begins in early September. They are stored in a refrigerator until November.

The early maturity of this pear is good: the trees begin to bear fruit from the 4th - 5th year. The variety is highly productive: mature trees yield up to 100 kg of fruit. Winter hardiness is quite high, but at low temperatures in extreme winters, damage to flower buds and a reduction in the total number of growths is possible. In the usual winter period in the conditions of Central Russia, cases of death and oppression have not yet been recorded. The variety is highly resistant to scab (fruits are more resistant, leaves are moderately resistant) and other major diseases and pests.

Growing conditions: heavy, drained soils are preferred. In sandy soil, trees grow at a rapid pace, resulting in cracks in the bark.

When caring for trees of this variety, it is important to carry out regular pruning to reduce the crown and avoid excessive moisture in the soil.

The advantages of the Kokinskaya pear include: very tasty and rather large fruits, high yield, frost resistance.

Among the shortcomings, the following are distinguished: the fruits may shrink in years of bountiful harvest, the leaves are prone to weak scab damage in unfavorable years.
