The yield indicator on the 45th day after the emergence of full shoots (during the first digging) is 111 - 345 c / ha, which is 40 - 212 c / ha higher than the indicators of the Dolphin, Bryanskiy early standards; on the 55th day (second digging) - 244 - 364 c / ha, which is 62 - 186 c / ha higher than the standards Zhukovsky early, Bryansk early. Colomba potatoes show resistance to the causative agent of potato cancer and golden potato cyst nematode, moderately resistant to common scab (6.5 points out of 9) and the causative agent of late blight (for tops - 4 points out of 9, for tubers - 6 points out of 9). Also shows resistance to darkening of tubers from impacts. Drought resistance is at an average level (5 points out of 9).
Planting these potatoes in too cold soil should be avoided. It is advisable to break off the apical shoots before planting. The variety responds well to the addition of manganese and magnesium. With additional irrigation in dry weather, yields are increased. Excessive moisture loss in tubers and premature germination can be caused by mechanical damage during harvest.
Advantages of Colomba potatoes: high and stable yield, uniformity of tubers, ultra-early ripening, high taste properties.
