Cucumber variety Parisian gherkin

Parisian gherkin is a bee-pollinated early-ripening variety of cucumber of an early ripening period, obtained by breeders of the Poisk agrofirm (Vereya). Approved for use in the Central (Ivanovo, Moscow, Vladimir, Ryazan, Smolensk, Tula, Bryansk, Kaluga regions) and Central Black Earth (Voronezh, Oryol, Kursk, Tambov, Belgorod, Lipetsk regions) regions. Overgrown fruits

The disadvantages include the rapid overgrowth (casking) of the fruit. Therefore, if you rarely appear in the country or you do not have time to pick cucumbers in a timely manner, it is better to take a closer look at other varieties and hybrids.

On the market, the Parisian gherkin cucumber, in addition to the Poisk company, is produced by many other companies (Sedek, Gavrish, Russian vegetable garden, Our garden, etc.), therefore, the external characteristics of zelents may differ.

I sow this variety all the time. I really like it for seaming, the main thing is not to let it overgrow, but overgrown barrels go well for salting in a barrel, the main thing is that they are not yellowed. It is these cucumbers that I salted into the barrel, since they have black thorns, and this is the main sign for salting, it is these that remain firm in the barrel and do not turn sour. In the Parisian gherkin, many ovaries are formed, there are very few barren flowers, the fruits grow together and are approximately the same size. It bushes well and is not afraid of powdery mildew. I do not tie it up, it braids the arms of the mini-greenhouse well itself to a height of no higher than 50 cm.

My favorite variety. Delicious cucumbers. Bright green, crunchy, aromatic, ripen together. They have no bitter taste. Same size as pick. They are very good both fresh and lightly salted, pickled, salted. I plant them at intervals of two weeks, and until late autumn we are with cucumbers. We make them with horseradish and garlic. Real jam.
