The granddaughter is a parthenocarpic variety (does not require pollination by bees), female type of flowering. Suitable for commercial production. The period from germination to the beginning of fruiting is 38 - 40 days.
Plants are medium-sized, medium-branched, indeterminate (the growth of the lash is not limited by the flower brush). The leaves are green, medium in size.
Zelentsy are oval-cylindrical, with small tubercles, short (7 - 9 cm), weighing 65 - 80 grams; fruit length to diameter ratio - 3.1: 1. The pubescence is dense. The thorns are white. The skin is green at the base and light green at the top, has a pronounced spotting and white longitudinal stripes (up to a third of the fruit are clearly defined, then become blurred). The pulp is greenish, crispy, without bitterness. The seed chamber is small. The yield of marketable fruits is 374 - 469 c / ha, which is 53 - 91 c / ha higher than that of standard varieties of Altai and Crane... The output of marketable products is high - 80 - 96%. Long-term fruiting.
The variety is universal - it is good both fresh, and, thanks to its compact fruits, is irreplaceable in salting.
The hybrid is resistant to the main diseases of cucumber - root rot, cucumber mosaic virus, brown spot, powdery mildew; tolerant to peronosporosis. When outgrowing, the skin becomes tough, so you should pick cucumbers at the green stage.
