Pepper variety Tsarevich
The Tsarevich sweet pepper variety is intended primarily for growing under film or agrofibre, as well as in the open field.
The plant is compact, stunted, its fruits are cuboid and thick, up to 8 millimeters, walls. Their surface is glossy, and the color in the phase of biological maturity is red. The average weight of fruits is 100 - 150 grams.
Distinctive features of the Tsarevich variety are:
- amicable ripening of fruits;
- consistently high yield;
- disease resistance.
The fruits of the Tsarevich pepper are good not only fresh, but also stuffed, frozen, and canned.
Not a bad variety, but I advise you to grow it only through seedlings. For several years I tried to grow from seeds - nothing happened. Large fruits grow only if the first flowers, at least a couple, are removed. Otherwise, the peppers grow small and dryish, even with abundant watering, and some even rot. I correct the situation with starting top dressing before flowering, and then again before ripening. Otherwise, there are no complaints about the variety. I use it in salads and for freezing. Good taste, aroma such that it interrupts all the ingredients in the dishes. I advise, but you need to adapt to it, tame it ...
