Tomato variety Pink Margari (F1)

The novelty Ji Ti Ir 1, or Pink Margari, which will be discussed, promises to be quite promising and to squeeze the already known varieties of tomatoes on the market. It belongs to the Japanese company Atakama Seeds. The variety has not yet been entered into the State Register of Breeding Achievements of Russia; it is currently being tested. But, nevertheless, some growers are already growing the variety on the plots. And, according to reviews, the GT-IR 1 competes well with one well-known hybrid - Pink Paradise... Anyone who liked the Ji Ti Il 1 variety, it is important to know that since 2017 its seeds have been discontinued. After entering the registry, GT-IR 1 will change its code name to Pink Margari, and under this name it will be sold, while it will be an improved version of itself, which will show a higher resistance to diseases.

Our hero is intended for growing in film and glass greenhouses, and shows excellent results in open ground on a trellis, however, in warm regions. Recommended for spring, intermediate and summer-autumn turns. The tomato is a hybrid, therefore it is marked with F1.

Description

The plant is indeterminate, it has a powerful start in the development of the root system. The initial growth energy is high. The stem is powerful, the internodes are short, the foliage is good. Leaves are medium in size, dark green, ordinary, slightly wrinkled. The inflorescences are simple and semi-complex. Therefore, from 4 to 6 ovaries, sometimes even more, can form in fruit clusters. The first brush is laid after the 7th sheet. 4 - 5 inflorescences are formed on the main stem. Up to 4 - 5 brushes can be poured at the same time. The peduncle is articulated. Thanks to the generative-vegetative type of development, the plant is easy to form and set the desired productivity.

Fruits are flat-rounded, slightly ribbed, very dense. The skin is thin but firm. Unripe tomato is light green, without a spot at the stalk. When ripe, it is evenly colored in a rich pink color. The pulp on the break is sugar. The taste is pronounced, the pulp is aromatic. The average weight of tomatoes is 220 - 240 grams, but when rationed, they can reach a weight of 300 - 400 grams.

Variety characteristics

  • Pink Margari belongs to early maturing hybrids. The crop is harvested 58 - 62 days after planting the seedlings;
  • the yield is good, vegetable growers say that the productivity of our hero is 30% higher than that of Pink Paradise. The originators declare that when forming in 4 - 6 stems in film hangars, you can get 12 - 16 kg of tomatoes and more from 1 square meter;
  • the yield of the crop is amicable, which is especially appreciated in industrial cultivation;
  • during ripeness, the fruits are resistant to cracking;
  • declared high tolerance of the culture to major diseases, noted resistance to the tomato mosaic virus;
  • plants are maximally resistant to changes in temperature and humidity, they form ovaries well even in the heat;
  • transportability is excellent. The presentation of tomatoes does not suffer from transportation over long distances. Keeping quality is also good;
  • method of use - for preparing salads.

Agrotechnics

It is not difficult to grow the described plant. The cultivar is treated with agricultural techniques common to the culture as a whole.

The Pink Margari hybrid is a fairly promising crop that has already received high marks from farmers cultivating vegetables for sale. The novelty is unpretentious, fruitful and has high taste. Seed material will have to be purchased constantly.

I planted pink paradise and pink margaris this year, growing conditions are the same !! Paradise showed itself from the best side, his fruit is larger, there are more fruits in the hand. the first fruits ripened 2 days later than Margarita. So margari is just a hyped product
