Connie's cucumber variety (F1)
Connie is a parthenocarpic hybrid of an early maturing cucumber. From full germination to the beginning of fruiting, 47-50 days pass. In 1999, the variety was included in the state register of the Russian Federation. Approved for use in all regions of Russia. Recommended for growing in film greenhouses, but it works well in the open field. The originator of the hybrid is the agricultural firm Biotekhnika (St. Petersburg).
Bushes vigorous, medium-growing, indeterminate (with unlimited growth), medium-leafy, female flowering type. The laying of the ovaries is bunchy. Leaves are green in color, wrinkled, of medium size, with a regular crenate edge.
Fruits are oval-cylindrical, small, only 7 - 9 cm long, with numerous small tubercles, rounded in cross section. The skin is green. The thorns are white, not prickly. The pulp is white, firm, without bitterness. The mass of the greenery is 60 - 80 grams. The marketable yield of early production is 8.7 - 9.2 kg / sq. Meter, at a later date - 12.8 - 16 kg / sq. Meter.
The Conny variety is highly resistant to powdery mildew, root rot and temperature extremes. And also has a high resistance to adverse weather conditions. Cucumbers not picked in time do not outgrow. There are no voids in canned products.
The hybrid is universal - the fruits are consumed fresh, and also, due to their size, they are ideal for canning.
Advantages of Connie's cucumber: high taste properties of fruits, early maturity, short-fruiting, marketability, high yield.
