Patti is a parthenocarpic hybrid of a mid-ripening cucumber. Bred in 2004 by breeders of the Sedek agricultural firm (Moscow). Authors of the variety: I.N. Dubinina, M.I. Kirillov and S.V. Dubinin. In 2008, it was added to the state register of breeding achievements of the Russian Federation in the Central Chernozem (Belgorod, Voronezh, Kursk, Lipetsk, Oryol, Tambov regions) region. Designed for cultivation in open and closed ground in private subsidiary plots. Suitable for growing on a windowsill or balcony. From germination to fruiting, it takes 40 - 45 days.
Plants are vigorous, medium-growing, indeterminate (the growth of the main lash is not limited), female flowering type. The leaves are large, dark green. The ovaries in the leaf sinuses are laid in bunches.
Cucumbers are leveled, cylindrical, short (10 - 11 cm), with small tubercles, weighing 60 - 90 grams. The skin is dark green with short light stripes. Pubescence is white, high density. Thorns are prickly. The pulp is tasty, tender, crispy, sweetish. The seed chambers are medium in size. The yield of marketable fruits is 115 - 370 c / ha, which is 22 - 43 c / ha higher than that of the standard varieties of Druzhina and Crane... Fruits are not stored for long.
A variety for universal use. Due to its small size, it is perfect for harvesting for the winter. No voids are formed during canning.
