Juice 3 - an autumn apple variety, bred at the Sverdlovsk selection station of gardening through crossing of 2 varieties - Ural bulk x Harvest. The authorship belongs to L.A. Kotov and T.A. Makarova. The variety is zoned for the Volga-Vyatka region.
The trees are medium-sized, strong, with a fast growth rate. The leaves are elongated, dark green in color.
Fruits are medium-sized, lower-middle and medium-sized (the average weight of an apple is 75 - 80 g, the smallest fruits weigh at least 60 g, the largest specimens reach 100 - 120 g), one-dimensional, flat-round shape. The appearance of the fruit is very attractive: the main color is light cream, the integumentary color is a continuous blurred striped-speckled blush of a rather bright pink color. Narrow funnel. The saucer is small. Closed cup.
The pulp is creamy, granular, very juicy, slightly cartilaginous (which is convenient when squeezing juice), with a very good sweet and sour taste. On a 5-point tasting scale, apples are rated at 4.5 points. Although the purpose of the variety is universal, its name speaks for itself - from the fruits of the Sokoye 3 apple tree, a very tasty high quality juice is obtained.
Fruits ripen in the autumn (first half of September), are stored for up to 90 - 120 days.
The early maturity of the apple tree is very good: the trees bear fruit from the 3rd - 4th year after planting. Fruiting is annual, abundant. One apple tree is capable of producing over 100 kg of apples. The average yield in the Volga-Vyatka region was 63 c / ha. Winter hardiness of trees is very high. Scab resistance is high.

Apple-tree Juice 3 has proven itself very well in my backyard garden. Firstly, due to the high yield. I have three apple trees of this variety and from one tree I have enough fruit to harvest apple juice for myself in the winter. As a rule, I sell apples from the rest of the trees, I don’t leave them lying down, for this I have other varieties.
Secondly, the apple tree is unpretentious and tolerates winter well. I have already formed the crown for them. Now only in the spring I feed with humus and the harvest is secured. I think this spring to inoculate a few more wilds with incisors from the Sokovoe 3 variety.
