Cucumber variety RMT (F1)
RMT is a hybrid of an early ripening cucumber from the Uralsky Dachnik series, presented on the Russian market by the agricultural firm Mars (Chelyabinsk Region, Miass). Suitable for growing at home.
Parthenocarpic variety (does not require pollination by bees), with bundle formation of ovaries. Recommended for growing in the first turn. The period from germination to harvesting the first fruits is 36 - 44 days.
Plants are medium-sized, with a medium degree of branching and weak foliage. In one leaf sinus, from 2 to 5 cucumbers are tied. Up to 20 - 30 fruits are poured on the plant at the same time. To get a high yield, the collection of fruits must be carried out in a timely manner, due to which new ovaries will develop.
They form RMT, like all varieties of the Uralsky Dachnik series (Siberian garland, Firestarter, Beam splendor, To everyone's envy, MELS, Taganay), in one stem.
Fruits are cylindrical, with small tubercles. The length of the greenery is 11 - 13 cm, the weight is 80 - 100 grams. The skin is rich green color, with short whitish stripes. Pubescence is of medium density. Spikes are white. The pulp is fragrant, crispy, without bitterness.
The variety is universally usable. Taste properties of canned and fresh fruits are high.
This hybrid is characterized by an abundance of greenery on the plant, high yields at the beginning of fruiting, as well as increased resistance to heat and drought. Cucumbers retain their commercial properties for 10 days from the date of harvest, without creating special storage conditions. Fruiting lasts until autumn frosts.
The value of RMT cucumber: early maturity, amicable fruiting, high yield, excellent fruit taste, marketability.
This spring I acquired the RMT variety (F1). The seedlings were strong and beautiful. That was the end of it. One thin, pale whip has grown. There are practically no ovaries, while others fall off. Loose, water, shaman. Nothing. Tell me what is the matter.
Not enough light is one of the main reasons for crop failure.
The RMT variety is excellent and productive. First you have to start with mother soil. If your soil is not fertile and acidic, do not expect a harvest. This plant is very demanding on soil fertility and plant protection from diseases and pests.
Yes, I didn’t impress in the greenhouse. There is a lot of greenery, but not very good tying. There was something to compare. Most likely, there is a lack of light.
